Meet Amanda

Amanda Brady was a strong and kindhearted young woman who touched everyone that came to know her.

At a very young age, Amanda communicated a strong desire to become a teacher that inspired and opened children’s minds to learning in an innovative and thought provoking way. She attended and graduated from schools in the Manassas City, Virginia area where she also excelled athletically in youth and high school sports as a talented softball player.

Amanda was able to achieve her lifelong goal after graduating from Radford University and became a devoted elementary school teacher. She was also fortunate to achieve another extraordinary aspiration through her coaching and mentoring of high school female athletes.

Amanda died in an unfortunate accident several weeks before she was to be married. Her character, integrity and compassionate personality will forever remain a gift to her family, friends, and students.

Because Amanda gave so selflessly of herself in all aspects of her life, the Amanda C. Brady Foundation for Youth has been created in her memory and will be dedicated to supporting scholarship funding and programs that enhance youth academic and athletic development.
